After registration, we were ushered into the Pantages Hollywood at around 8pm. Shortly after, Jack the Clown and his hideous circus crew showed up. Jack has opened auditions in search of new stars for his nightmare circus. However, despite equipping with amazing talents from the auditionees, they did not manage to live the next day. The narcissistic Jack is still unable to find another performing artist better than him.

After the stage show ended, we were split into small groups and each lead by a few professional guides. Our group first went to the Jack’s 3-Dementia, first ever 3D haunted house in Singapore. Followed by Jing’s Revenge, MATI Camp and The L.A.B. The event ended at around 11pm with refreshments at the Discovery Food Court.

HHN4 Review

 

USS Halloween Horror Nights, as always, the costumes, props and effects are professionally planned. There are alot more scare actors around the scare zones and in the haunted houses compare to last year.

My personal favourite haunted house is the MATI Camp follow by Jing’s Revenge. Somehow, haunted army and school theme never fail to make people’s hair stands.

The alien theme The L.A.B does not have much scare factor for us, probably because we are too accustom to the sci-fi world, unless the aliens and monsters are trying to chase after and eat you alive.

This year HHN4, USS introduce Singapore’s first 3D haunted house, Jack’s 3-Dementia. Scare factor is low too but it is pretty interesting walking around the fun house with a 3D glasses looking at luminous dazzling picture walls and decor coming to life, twisting your mind. However, if you have coulrophobia (fear of clowns), this is not the place you would like to stay, as the evil clowns will not spare pranking at you.

For scare zone, my personal favourite is the Scary Tales. You can see familiar characters like Rapunzel with her super long hair that is used to cocoon the next unaware victim, Little Red Riding Hood who will chase after wolves and YOU, Mermaid that is being hanged and more. These twisted characters are probably the creations of the Scribes of Scare which you will encountered at the entrance of the Scary Tales.

Jack’s Nightmare Circus at Pantages Hollywood is a show that you do not want to miss. It is entertaining with music and dance, extreme stunts by the audition participants and Jack’s horrific humor.

We spent about 3 hours to complete all the 4 haunted houses, 4 scare zones and a 45 minutes stage show. This is without queuing for more than 5 minutes at the haunted houses. We strongly recommend you to get an express pass if you want to have an enjoyable experience with less waiting in the queue. Or get the frequent fear pass and come back a few times to slowly complete the whole HHN4. If you have deep pocket, get the RIP Tour and experience the shiokness of VIP access to the haunted houses, priority photo opportunity with the scare actors and an unlimited express pass to all open attractions for that day after the guided tour ends.
