2012 Halloween Fright Night @ ACM

Asian Civilisation Museum is having their yearly Fright Night this year on the 27 Oct 2012. Free admission from 5pm to 1am. Activities from 7pm to 12mn.

Be thrilled by a host of exciting activities guaranteed to send tingles down your spine!

Enjoy colourful performances, listen to haunting Asian tales, and explore the Museum through a supernatural trail in the galleries! Also, don’t miss your last chance to catch the Treasures of the Aga Khan Museum exhibition for free.

2012 Fright Night ACM


Asian Horror ScreamFest (8.30pm and 10.30pm)
MJ12: Kronik (PG) (Malay with English subtitles)
Based no the popular radio programme “Mister Jam 12″ on Ria 89.7FM, MJ12: Kronik is an anthology of four of the best ghostly encounters shared by listeners. Join us for the screening of the four short films followed by a meet and greet session with actors from the show at 9pm.
(Seating for films will be on a first-come, first-served basis.)

Thrilling Performances (7pm – 11pm)
Spirits – Explore purgatory through a selection of tradition and modern dance.
Bomoh Storytellers – Brace yourself for a thrilling session of haunting Asian tales by our roving storytellers.

Ghoulish Gallery Experiences (7pm – 12mn)
Venture through the galleries on a Supernatural Gallery Trail.
Snap a photo with horrifying characters from the Singapore Paranormal Investigators (SPI) and take part in our Instagram contest to win passes to The Butter Factory!

Wicked Activities (7pm – 12mn)
Have eerie effects painted on your face.
Get instant photos at our spooky photobooth corner.
Check outequipment used by SPI on their paranormal adventures.
Learn about blood from the Singapore Red Cross.

Kids Corner (5pm -10pm)
Create your own wayang kulit (shadow puppet).
Make your own supernatural mask.
